It is said that it began when the dance was dedicated in the installation of the deity of the new village shrine, the Rokusho Shrine, in Kyōhō 19 (1734). It is performed at the Rokusho Shrine every year on the third Saturday of July to pray for bumper crops and rain.

The two figure Doso-shin was erected by the Kobettō clan in Hōreki 8 (1758). The Kobettō clan were a family of civil engineers who served the Chiba clan during the Sengoku period. It is 47 cm tall.

Two of the two figure Doso-shin are in front of the Nanasha Shrine. Facing the two figure Doso-shin, to the left is a statue by Kashiwagimura, erected in Kyōwa 2 (1802) with a height of 60 cm. To the right is a statue erected by the Kashiwagichiku in Shōwa 8 (1933) with a height of 60 cm.

On the opposite side of the stairs to Sumiyoshi Shrine is a two figure Doso-shin engraved with "Hōreki Gonen I Sangatsu Kichijitsu," erected in Hōreki 5 (1755). Height: 44 cm. There is another two figure Doso-shin newly erected by the local people.

The site of the Nomakasho which managed the Sakurananamaki pasture of the Shogunate in the Edo period. The Nomakasho was run by those called mokushi (a governmental post in charge of maintaining pastures) families who were former retainers of the Chiba clan and served as umabugyo for the Edo Shogunate. Horses were essential for military affairs, transport and farming. Here, more than 100 horses were traded for several thousand ryo (a unit used in the old Japanese currency system).

The site of the gateway to Unchinomaki, the umamaki of the Tokugawa Shogunate during the Edo period. It was also the road to Shibayama so a kido (gate) and bansho (guard house) were placed and the entry and exit of people and horses were monitored.
